With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melvin C. Fuelling of Decatur, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl C. Fuelling and Esther Fuelling (Kukelhan); his stepdaughter Carrie L. West; his siblings, Rolland "Mickey" Fuelling, Eldon Fuelling and Harriet Fuhrman; and his brother-in-law Gene Thatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fuelling of Decatur, Indiana; his stepchildren, Christine Ferguson (Mike) of Bluffton, Indiana and Steven Gase of Bluffton, Indiana; his sisters, Vivian Thatcher of Willshire and Margene Fuelling of Decatur, Indiana; and his brother-in-law Lawrence "Jerome" Fuhrman of New Haven, Indiana. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and Sharon's two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (1033 E 1100 N, Decatur, IN 46733).
Preferred memorials can be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling.
