It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn R. Sprunger (Decatur, Indiana), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marilyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester C. Norton and Ruth V. Norton (Cook); her husband Edward F. "Ed" Sprunger; and her siblings, Robert Norton and Maxine Howey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally J. Sprunger of Decatur and Cherie D. Gage (Ed) of Decatur. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to the Adams County Animal Shelter.
