Kaye left this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldor R. "Al" Nern and Ruth L. Nern (Monnier); her husband Don E. Strickler; her sister Vicki Gerig; and her brother-in-law Merv Parrish.
She is survived by: her son Ron Bedwell (Beth) of Decatur; her granddaughters, Ashley Sieb (Justin) of Richmond, Sarah Gray (William) of Decatur and Brittney Hitchcock (Glen) of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Cooper Sieb, Braxen Gray, Landen Gray, Nolen Gray, Hayden Bedwell, Daxten Hitchcock and Maddux Hitchcock; her siblings, Rick Nern (Sally) and Sherry Parrish; and her brother-in-law Les Gerig of Decatur. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Haggard Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home (225 Adams St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
