With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jill M. Evans of Decatur, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Tassler and Marian Marie Tassler-Kendall (Gemmill); and her brother Randy Tassler. She is survived by: her husband John Evans; her children, Jamie Pike (Joshua) of Wilmore, Kentucky and Jared Evans of Knoxville, Tennessee; her sister Cheryl Ford-Suffel (Jeff) of Edgerton, Ohio; her sister-in-law Linda Tassler of Versailles, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Alexis Evans, Hudson Pike, Archer Pike, Lennox Pike and Stella Pike. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
