With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry K. Putman of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oliver and Ilo Mae Putman (Clark). He is survived by: his brother David L. Putman (Catherine A. Gaffer).
