He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bob" Crowell. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn R. Crowell (Boring) of Decatur, Indiana; his son James C. Crowell, Jr. (Aurora) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his girlfriend Tonia Benge of Decatur, Indiana; his stepchildren, William Colbert (Danyiel) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Crystal Shaffer (Christopher) of Decatur, Indiana; his siblings, Steve Crowell (Lisa) of Rockford, Ohio, Deborah Kelsey of Winchester, Indiana, Katherine Wren of Winchester, Indiana and Roberta Hobbs of Marshall, Indiana; his grandchildren, Satorei Crowell, Airyana Crowell, Ashlynn Shaffer, Judith Shaffer, Elizabeth Colbert, Allysia Kinyon and James Horj; and his great grandchild Rylan Trendle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733).
