He is survived by: his wife Sharon Banning (Schaekel) of Decatur, Indiana; his daughter Judy Lengerich (Mark) of Decatur, Indiana; his stepdaughter Sara Nelson (Tony); his daughter-in-law Julie Banning of Decatur, Indiana; his sister Sue Young (Mark) of Avon, Indiana; and his grandsons, Chad Lengerich (Tish Perez) of Houston and Shane Lengerich (Karah Thieme) of Fort Wayne, Indiana..
