He is survived by: his parents, Enos A. Schmidt and Rosie M. Schmidt (Christner); his wife Ruth Schmidt (Schwartz); his children, Lynette and Matthew Schmidt; his siblings, Martin, Enos, Nathan, Matthew, Levi, Paul, Harvey, Rosemary, Clara, Adeline, Edwin, Jacob and Jonas; and his parents-in-law, Joe L. D. and Elizabeth D. Schwartz (Eicher). He is also survived by several brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws.
