He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ada M. Foor; his children, Grover E. "Chief" Odle (Lynn) of Decatur, Thomas W. Odle (Laurie) of Decatur and Michele L. Olde Butcher; and his stepchildren, Michael Gentis, Nancy Gentis and Karen Gentis. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
