He was predeceased by: his mother Daisy L. Hurst. He is survived by: his father Thomas K. Hurst of Hernando, Florida; his daughters, Megan Henkel (Doug) of Decatur and Madison Lengerich (Johnny) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Ashton, Avery Henkel, Rylee and John Cooper Lengerich; his sister Jodi Hurst Thompson of Muncie; his nephew Tanner Thompson (Kayla) of Mooreland; and his niece Quincy DeKemper (Alex) of Bluffton. He is also survived by three great-nieces.
