He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Geyer and Lydia Geyer (Steffen); his spouse Donnabell Hurst Affolder; his siblings, Loyal, Donald, Earl, Lester, Verlyn, George Geyer, Lavera Heyerly, Ilean Steffen and Berthelean Reinhard; and his nephew Jesse Hurst.
He is survived by: his children, Don "Butch" Affolder (Marcia) of Decatur and Linda Lose (John) of Decatur; and his sister Dorothy "Dot" Vanhorn of Decatur. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be given to Honor Flight or Heart to Heart Hospice.
