It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna E. Mesing of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Marbach and Viola Marbach (Grote); her husband Ralph M. Mesing; her grandson James Arthur Vandre; and her siblings, Linda Brenneke, Norma Mueller, Florence Bulmahn, Edith Nierman and Edward Marbach.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Ensley (Al) of Hudson, Indiana, James Mesing (Patricia) of Jacksonville, Florida, Howard Mesing of Kendallville, Indiana, Darlene Ehle (Gerry) of Pleasant Lake, Marlene Vandre (Jim) of Marysville, Ohio and Walter Mesing (Carla) of Decatur, Indiana; and her brothers, Herbert Marbach (Lorna) of Decatur, Indiana and Richard Marbach (Helen) of Decatur, Indiana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one on the way; & 4 great great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble or Heart to Heart Hospice.
