He is survived by: his mother Janice Geels (Titus) of Decatur; his children, Daniel "Danny" Dowler (Alyssa) of Decatur, Mariah "Riah" (Trevor Hawkins) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Victoria "Tory" Anderson (Tristan) of Decatur; his grandsons, Levi Dowler and Teddy Hawkins; and his siblings, Michael Geels (Kristine) of Monroe, IN, Laurie Grote (Eugene) of Decatur, IN, Leann Granell (Gary) of Tennessee, Erica Dieden (Mark) of Illinois, Melissa Blazek (James) of Illinois and Matthew Geels (Angela) of Missouri.
Preferred memorials are to Wounded Warrior Project or Adams County Cancer Coalition.
