He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kruse of Decatur; his son Jason Kruse; his stepsons, Stefan Hartman (Christine) of Ft. Wayne and Nicholas Hartman (Kellie) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Grant, Audrey, Dean, Layla, Lawson and Grayson; and his sister Mary Jewell.
Memorials may be given to Boys and Girls Club of Adams County.
