He is survived by: his wife Sherry Andres; his daughters, Jennifer Rumple (Paul) of Decatur, IN and Nicole Allison (Tom) of Speedway, IN.; his grandchildren, Grant Rumple, Cash Rumple, Emma Lowery (Izaac), Brooke Allison, Avery Allison and Eliza Allison; and his sister Judy Andres of Cincinnati, OH..

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“Dear Sherry, Nicole & Jennifer, I met the Andres family when daughter, Kelly, was a Tigerette WCHS band. Al, a volunteer Dad who helped place and remove props under a time limit, an excellent volunteer. I also remember taking a boat ride around Winona Lake. Lastly, you appeared at Presby Church and we got to see each other weekly. Then, we all had health issues come our way, especially Al & Charlie. Widows we are Sherry; I understand your grief. I send my loving sympathy. Connie Ker”
