He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley M. Perkins and Ada Beatrice Perkins Peters (Legg); his spouse Noma E. Poland; and his siblings, Donald Keith Perkins, Thomas Henry Perkins and Helen Marie Howe.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Kent Perkins (Becky) of Frankfort, Richard Arley Perkins (Teresa) of Frankfort, Ronnie L. Dubree of Lafayette, Graydon K. Perkins (Paula) of Lafayette and Robert A. Perkins (Kathy) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 29 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
