He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Griest and Sharon Griest (Griffin); his stepfather Freddie Leon; and his siblings, Timothy Griest and Sara Allee.
He is survived by: his children, Holly Talisha Griest (James Diamond), Thomas Paul Griest and Elijah White; his grandchildren, Noah James, Sophia Renee, Jackson Ray, Benjamin Craig, Thomas Allen and Nathanael Paul; and his siblings, Roxanne Thomas, Kandy Hicks and Mark Griest (Kelly).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Care (315 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (1306 E Main St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933).
