He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Birchfield and Carolyn Lee Maxwell Hunt; his brother Val Edward; and his granddaughter Cheyenne. He is survived by: his children, John Birchfield, Matt Birchfield, Megan Salas and Amy Hughes (Paul); his stepson Jared Tolley; his grandchildren, Makayla, Zion, Malaki, Malik, Julia, Cherish and Caroline (Klayton); his girlfriend Janie Sherlock; and his siblings, Jerry Birchfield (Cindy), Jeff Hunt and Susan Anderson.
