With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William B. Black of Danville, Indiana, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Black and Laura Black (Murray); and his stepmother Helen Black. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Black (MacArthur); his children, Debra Alexander (Scott) and Doug Black (DeeDee); his grandchildren, Ryan Alexander, Lauren Alexander, Evan Black, Kriegh Black (Channah), Kole Black and Britney Rodman; his brother Bob Black (Jackie); and his stepsisters, Denia Zuch (Don) and Cathy Speerly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or the Bill Black Scholarship at Danville Area Community College.
