She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fellows and Elizabeth Fellows (Mendenhall). She is survived by: her husband Paul "Eddie" Mackey; her children, Paula Zapp of Coatesville, Shannon Chastain of Kokomo and David Mackey (Amber) of Greencastle; her grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Bailey Hungerle, Kaitlyn Crow, Olivia and Emmaline Mackey; her great grandchildren, Riley, Grayson, Parker, Ricky and Daniel; and her siblings, Carol Roeder (Max) and Greg Fellows (Donna).

Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home-Danville (102 S Indiana St, Danville, IN 46122). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 887 IN-75, Danville, IN 46122.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name Alzheimer's Research and Foundation.
