He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Tuttle and Mary Ellen Tuttle; his wife Lois Poulson; his son Jerry; his son-in-law Bill Simpson; his brother Ralph; and his grandson Sean Simpson.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Tuttle (Boo) of Westville and Rose Tuttle Simpson of Bloomington; his brother Philip of Danville; his grandsons, Justin (Fallyn), Jesse, Dalton, Tyler, Austin (Brandi) and Mason (Becca); and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Lucas.
