She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lee and Glenola Violeh Grove (Stattner); her husband Walter Harold Hess; her son Jeffrey Hess; and her siblings, Paul, Alvin, Marvin Grove, Betty Chesterman and Nila Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Hess (Kristy) of Spokane, WA., David Hess (Jan) of Greencastle and James Hess (Sharon) of Warren, MI.; and her siblings, Carl Grove and Audre Wilson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
