He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae Spurlock (Higgans) and Charlie Spurlock; and his sister Ruby Disney. He is survived by: his pet Jenzee; his wife Stella Spurlock of Danville, Indiana; his children, Mark Allen Spurlock (Kira) of Steens, Mississippi, Lisa Imlay (Kevin) of Seymour, Tina Newby (Jason) of Danville and Melanie Bush (Doug) of Darlington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hannah Newby, Kasey Schafer (Newby), Austin Schafer, Mady, Masen Bush, Brayden, Carson and Ella Spurlock; his siblings, Paul, Jerry, William, Ardee, Mary, Martha, Pearl Wyatt and Berneice Pickard; and also, Brayden Spurlock and Lisa Imlay.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society at 3033 East Main Street Danville, Indiana 46122 or the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation at 1000 East Main Street Danville, Indiana 46122 to fund care of cancer patients in need.
