He was predeceased by: his parents, Belva Beard (Simmons) and Lloyd Beard; his sister Velma Farrington; and his son Michael Beard. He is survived by: his children, Dee A. Holbrook (Thomas) of Avon, Paul Beard (Jana) of Danville, Suzzanne Brown (Eric) of Bainbridge and Mary Jo Kern (John) of Danville; his sister Norma Brown of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Jacob Holbrook, Eric Brown, Andrea Brown, Jacquelyn Smith, Katherine Beard, Allyson Kern, Steven Brown, Sean Brown and Matthew Kern. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
