He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon B. Champion Sr. and Lula Champion (Philbeck); and his siblings, Ralph, Kenneth, Vance Champion, Geneva Blackwelder and Elizabeth Inge.
He is survived by: his wife Eula D. Champion (Estes); and his children, Dennis L. Champion (Teresa) and Carol Blanton (Craig). He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
