It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Phenicie of Danville, Indiana, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Nyram and Della Opal Wrather (Shroyer); her husband Murray L. Phenicie; her son Jay Phenicie; her daughter-in-law Janice Phenicie; and her grandson Doug Phenicie.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Phenicie of Ridge Farm and Dale Phenicie (Becky) of Danville; her grandchildren, Chad Phenicie, Hayley Cunningham (Cody), Kyle Phenicie, Corey Phenicie (Mary), Shane Phenicie, Joshua Phenicie (Tonjia), Doug Lawrence (Lee), Jordan Phenicie (Krista) and Shanna Taylor (Keith); and her close friend Jenny Neal. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Christian Church in Danville.
