He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Thompson and Beatrice Thompson (Smith); and his brother Harold Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Thompson of Danville; his children, Michael Thompson (Beverly) of Coatesville, Christopher Thompson (Shirley Marine) of Mooresville, Teri Cobb (Bob) of Indianapolis and Robin Coffey of Reelsville; and his sister Loretta Holbrook of Greenfield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Branson Funeral Service & Crematory East Main (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
