He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Trapp (Pfeister) and Sylvester S. Trapp; his siblings, Father Joseph Trapp, Tom Trapp and Joanne Johnson; and his grandchildren, Haley Trapp and Mitchell Trapp.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine A. Trapp of Danville; his children, Patrick E. (Nora) of Charlottesville, VA., Timothy J. (Ellen) of Huntsville, AL., Michael A. (Mindy) of Indianapolis, Christopher A. Trapp (Christine) of Charlotte, N. C. and Janice M. Fiori (James) of Indianapolis; and his sister Margaret Bice (Robert). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
