He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sanders and Rosa Sanders (Long); his wife Betty Ann; his siblings, Effie Parks, Lester, Ershel and Bill Sanders; and his close friend Norma Humphrey.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Coulter (Greg) of Indianapolis, Jeff Sanders (Peg) of Speedway and Randall "Buck" Sanders (Vicki) of Bainbridge; his grandsons, Clay Coulter (Jenny), Tanner Coulter (Erin), Craig Sanders (Emily) and Jace Sanders (Britt); his great grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Cooper, Parker Coulter, Finley and Olivia Sanders; and his brother Jerry Clyde Sanders (Nancy) of Brownsburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elgie's name to the Hendricks County Senior Services in Danville.
