With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Keith Dodson (Danville, Indiana), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Everett and Ethel Mae Dodson (Lane); his son Donald "Rusty" Dodson, II; his grandson Jacob Dodson; his brother Dean Dodson; his son-in-law Michael Hogan; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Ann Dodson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Dodson; his children, Debora Severinsen (Mark) of Warrenton, MO, Dawnna Hogan-Guerra (Miguel Guerra) of Apex, NC, Daniel Dodson (Jennifer) of Edmond, OK, Douglas Dodson (Ruth) of Pleasant Grove, UT, Dee Anna Ross (Rick) of Kingsville, MO, Drew Dodson (Julie) of Summerfield, NC, Damon Dodson (Jennifer) of Pleasant Grove, UT, Danena Cahill (Eric) of Loganville, GA and Dixie Brostrom (Bill) of Mentone, CA; his daughter-in-law Shari Dodson of Mapleton, UT; and his brothers, Carlos Dodson and Dennis Dodson. He is also survived by 43 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
