He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Henson and Mary Henson (Martin); his siblings, Frank Henson and Janice Phenicie; and his nephew Doug Phenicie.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Henson; his sons, Jamie Henson (Christina Clore) of Crawfordsville, IN, Charlie Penry (Shelly) of Georgetown, IL, Andrew Henson (Lorelyn) of Rantoul, IL, Matt Elliott of Rankin, IL and Jason Elliott (Heather) of Oakwood, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Hasler of Terre Haute, IN and Melvin Phenicie of Ridge Farm, IL. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren as well as 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Dennis' memory to the United Church of Tilton Childrens/Youth Programs or the church Worship Music Program.
