With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carla Kay Borden of Danville, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carla departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carla. Though Carla may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Gales and Donna Gales; her husband Joe Borden; her daughters, Lindsey Sullivan and Jessica Short; and her grandchildren, Maddilynne, Colt, Kaylee and Carson. She was also cherished by her siblings and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
