He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Ilene (Franklin) and Charles Rawleigh Baker; his brother Charles W. "Bill" Baker; and his stepson Doug Stephenson. He is survived by: his children, John Byron "J. B." Baker (Kathleen) of Illinois and Sabrina Watson (Scott) of Danville; his sister Becky Patrick of Florida; and his granddaughter Hannah.
