She is survived by: her parents, Kenneth Pate and Norma Pate (Brummett) of Monrovia; her husband Scott of Falmouth; her daughter Vicki Crosby of Rushville; her stepchildren, Joshua A. Jackson (Jennifer Hahn) of Straughn and Ashley M. Wilson (Wayne Sprinkle) of Greensburg; and her sister Katy Pate (Fred Mau) of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Raleigh Fire Department.
