She was predeceased by: her parents, Evans Rugenstein and Frieda Rugenstein (Jones); and her siblings, David Rugenstein, Walter "Ted" Rugenstein, Evans "Sonny" Rugenstein, Jr. and Diane Rugenstein Hatley.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Hedrick; her sons, Michael Hedrick (Sarah) of Danville and Erick Hedrick of Danville; and her grandchildren, Kasey and Levi.
In addition to or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anita's name to St. Labre Indian School or St. Joseph's Indian School.
