He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Story Sr. and Alice Story (Chestnut). He is survived by: his wife Linda Potter; his children, Adam Story (Lisa) of Danville and Amber Story (Jonathan Rall) of College Park, Maryland; his grandchildren, Hannah Jones (Chris), Colton Story (Claire Bellman) and Sarah Story; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Cade Jones; and his brother Irvin Story, Jr. (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
