We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2021, at the age of 88, Ernest Payton of Dana, Indiana, born in Montezuma, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Payton and Genola Bord Payton; his wife Marilyn E. Wickens Payton; his son Steven Payton; his great grandchild Adilynn Payton; and his brother DeElda Payton.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Foxworthy (Jim) of Bloomingdale and Timothy Dee Payton of Quaker; his sister Janice "Cookie"; and his grandchildren, Blake Hooper (Lori), Kurt Haley (Corree), Heather Winks (Albert), Jodie Carter (Mark), Tyler Payton (Tina), Brittney Gould (David) and Logan Payton. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
