With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Jean Goforth (Dana, Indiana), born in Greencastle, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dunkin and Lucille Dunkin; and her husband James Edmon Goforth. She is survived by: her children, Glenna, Kerry (Cindy) and Douglas (Pamela); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin), Kayla and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Jude and Linus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dana United Methodist Church (260 N Linden St, Dana, IN 47847). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gibson Hospice Unit at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN or the Vermillion County Humane Society.
