He is survived by: his wife Pamela Groce; his brother Jesse Groce; and his children, Rodney Shanahan (Trina), Greg Shanahan (Heather) and Nikki Shanahan (Jarmell Graves). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one nephew, and several cousins.
