He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Levell and Dottie Barkdull (Shoaf); his stepmother Mary E. Levell; and his siblings, Dennis Levell and Tonya Norris.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Levell; his children, Kyle Levell and Kara Larson (Jonathan); his granddaughter Rebekah Larson; and his sisters, Becca Ryder (Jay), Pam Schildmeier and Theresa Riffey.
