He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Jackson and Mary Haynes Jackson (Shipley); and his stepfather Joseph Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Wauneatti Haynes (Hunt) of Daleville; his sons, Guy Haynes (Teri) of Daleville, Todd Haynes of Anderson and Joe Haynes (Dawn) of Kokomo; his grandchildren, Dustin, Amber, Ashley, Rayona, Caitlin, Joey, Olivia, Jacob and Brandon; and his brother Donald Haynes of Bloomington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
