He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald H. Herron and Phyllis Herron-Reynolds (Gregory); his wife Joanna Herron (Smith); his children, Corey G. Herron and Leslie J. Bays (Daryl) of Muncie; his grandchildren, Sheridan, Ellianah, Dalilah Bays and Carter G. Herron; his great grandchild Aria; his stepmother Diane Herron; and his siblings, Brian Herron of Muncie and Dana Herron. He was also cherished by Several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
