He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Chris Reck (Mary) of Anderson, Carla Bingham (Bill) of Anderson and Calvin Reck (Lisa) of Indianapolis; his brothers, Charles Reck of Yorktown and David Reck of Daleville; his significant other Chris Wilson of Connersville; his grandchildren, Curtis Reck of Indianapolis, Amanda Donnelly (Jake) of Anderson and Ashleigh Bingham of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Leighla and Leland Donnelly; and his parents, Jesse Reck and Irene Reck. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Alzheimer's Association or Kindred Hospice.
