With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Marian Shockley (Daleville, Indiana), who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Bernice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bernice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mundy and Juanita Mundy; her children, Judith Shockley Buntin and William Bruce Shockley; and her grandson Scott Swingley.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Shockley and Jeffery Shockley (Sheila) of Daleville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
