It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antoinette Gogel (Dale, Indiana), born in Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Harpenau and Nettie Harpenau (Goffinet); her husband Robert Gogel; her grandson Josh Varner; her great grandchild Vivian Varner; and her siblings, Bernard Harpenau and Joan Lee Harpenau.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Gogel (Patty) of Mariah Hill, Michael J. Gogel (Brenda) of Mariah Hill, Leonard Gogel of St. Meinrad, Kathy Meyer (Gary) of Ferdinand, Joanie Wening (Brent) of Portersville, Martha Varner (Dirk) of Grandview and Donna Lee (Scott) of Mariah Hill; and her siblings, Paul Louis Harpenau (Marilyn) of Louisville, Carroll Harpenau (Harriet) of Louisville, Ted Harpenau (Carol) of Greenwood, IN., Ray Harpenau (Sadie) of Huntingburg, Gene Harpenau (Karen) of St. Anthony and Rita Phillips (Jan) of St. Meinrad. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four step-greatgrandchildren.
