He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rumble and Dorothy Rumble (Martin); his nephew Bradley Gries; and his brother-in-law Bob Hargrove. He is survived by: his sons, Robert of Cynthiana and David (Tess) of Haubstadt; his grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua and Hannah of Haubstadt; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Gries (Clara) of Newburgh, Paul Gries (Mary Jo) of Haubstadt, Charlie Gries (Tanya) of Bowling Green, KY, Carolyn Gries of California, Barbara Hargrove of Evansville, Bernadine Welickovitch (Mike) of Pennsylvania and Margaret Mullen (Jim) of Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
