He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hankins and Katherine Hankins (Stephens); his brother James Hankins; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Holden, Dan Nolan and Mike Kincaid.
He is survived by: his former spouse Gail Chandler; his wife Patricia Ann Hankins (Liette); his children, Robert Hankins (Florentina), William Hankins, Dustin Hankins (Ally), Anthony Sellers (Kelly) and Katherine Sellers; and his siblings, Dave Hankins (Faith), Jack Hankins (Marty), Tim Hankins (Candy), Peg Holden, Pam Nolan, Connie Carter, Brenda Kincaid and Rose Roberts. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steven's memory to the Plymouth Hospice.
