She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Ward and Margaret Adeline McGaffey (Hodge). She is survived by: her spouse Arthur "Art" Birk; her children, William Birk and Ruth Birk; her pet Ella; her sisters, Beverly Baker (James), Marjorie Humes and Sharon Randel (Gary); and also Kingdon Brady.
