With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Cathey of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on July 4, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Velda Boender. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Cathey; his daughters, Jodee Trujillo (Robert), Cindy Bertram and Laurie Thomas (late George); his grandchildren, Andrew Trujillo, Douglas Trujillo (Erin), Grace Black (Jake) and Yvette Willis (Cody); his great grandchild Ronan; his brother Donald Cathey (Marilyn); and his friend Mark Bertram. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations to Honor Flight Chicago in Del's honor would be appreciated.
