With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon L. Kersey of Crown Point, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sharon left this world on September 22, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Bogner and Mercedes Bogner; and her son George Kersey. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Kersey (Jennifer), Sandra Adams (Robert), Michael Kersey (Kristine) and Colleen Ladwig; her grandchildren, Sydney Sills (Drew), Chase Ladwig, Corey Adams (Lauren), Ethan Ladwig, Zoey Adams, Ryan Kersey and Luke Kersey; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Malcolm, Carmen and Elliot; her siblings, Jack Bogner, Rick Bogner, Debra Ventura (Joseph) and Joan Schafer (Myron); and the father of her children Dennis Kersey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Sharon's name to the Friends of the Crown Point Community Library.
