She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Bogner and Mercedes Bogner; and her son George Kersey. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Kersey (Jennifer), Sandra Adams (Robert), Michael Kersey (Kristine) and Colleen Ladwig; her grandchildren, Sydney Sills (Drew), Chase Ladwig, Corey Adams (Lauren), Ethan Ladwig, Zoey Adams, Ryan Kersey and Luke Kersey; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Malcolm, Carmen and Elliot; her siblings, Jack Bogner, Rick Bogner, Debra Ventura (Joseph) and Joan Schafer (Myron); and the father of her children Dennis Kersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Sharon's name to the Friends of the Crown Point Community Library.
